In selecting an attorney it is important that you feel comfortable with the individual you are working with... so let me provide you with some information on my background so you get to know me a little better.

I completed my undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University with a double major in Political Science and Communication. I earned my Bachelor of Arts with honors. 

​

I then earned my Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve School of Law. 

​

I began my legal career in 2003 at a well established Lake County law firm.  During my tenure at the firm, I worked as an associate attorney developing my own practice and establishing long-lasting client relationships. I gained invaluable experience and even managed the firm's Madison office for 7 years.

After much discussion and careful thought, I decided that my family, my career goals, and my clients would be better served if I had my own firm.  So the Law Office of Stacy E. Dame, LLC was established in July of 2019. 

In my time outside of the office I enjoy making memories with my husband, our three children, and our Labrador retriever. We are often cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, doing home improvement projects, and working or playing outside. I also enjoy searching for vintage items to refinish, repurpose, or to bring character to our home.

I enjoy being an attorney because I like working with people, love assisting my clients in reaching their goals while making the process seem less daunting, have an opportunity to learn and apply that knowledge on a daily basis, and yes when necessary I welcome the opportunity to fight for my clients with the required level of aggressiveness in litigation.
